  • Hauwa Ojeifo

    Executive Director at She Writes Woman

    Hauwa Ojeifo publicly identifies as a person who lives with a mental health condition and psychosocial disability. Popularly tagged as the voice and face of mental health in Nigeria, Hauwa has received numerous local and international honours and recognition. She is the Executive Director at She Writes Woman (SWW); an award-winning movement that gives mental health a voice in Nigeria. She is the creator of Safe Place Nigeria - a virtual community for mental health-conscious Nigerians to access digital mental healthcare, self-care tools and wellness resources

    Hauwa is a certified integrative mental health coach. She is a recipient of the prestigious Queen’s Young Leaders award by the Royal Commonwealth Society and the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. She is a One Young World Ambassador and an AstraZeneca Young Health Programme scholar. She was also shortlisted as one of the Top 100 Most Inspiring Nigerian Women 2018 as well as the Top 100 Most Influential Young Nigerians for two consecutive years.

    Hauwa is the first African to bag the MTV Generation Change Award and was also honoured as an Obama Africa Leader 2019. She was shortlisted for the Women Deliver class of 2020 and a Mandela Washington Fellow 2020. In memory of disability rights icon Marca Bristo, Human Rights Watch honoured Hauwa as the inaugural Marca Bristo Fellow in September 2020. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also awarded her the Goalkeepers Global Goals Changemaker Award 2020.

    Hauwa has been featured in media such as Telegraph UK, Aljazeera, CNN, Reuters, BBC World News, Yahoo Lifestyle, CNBC and more. She addressed the One Young World delegation in The Hague, Netherlands and spoke at the first-ever United Nations sexual violence Survivors Town Hall calling on world leaders to pass a UN Sexual Violence Survivors’ Bill of Rights. She’s also the first person with a mental health condition to testify before Nigeria’s parliament on the inclusion of persons with mental health conditions and psychosocial disabilities in Nigeria’s mental health legislative efforts.

    Hauwa is using her techniques and learnings to help changemakers (nonprofit leaders, advocates, social entrepreneurs and activists) make their desired change whilst living mentally healthy lives filled with contentment and peace of mind. She is passionate about advocating for human rights’ respecting mental health laws and policies.

  • Dr. Garica Sanford

    Licensed Psychologist & Executive Coach

    Dr. Sanford works from the belief that authentically vulnerable self-reflective relationships with ourselves and others cultivates whole-person wellness. Trained as a clinical psychologist, Dr. Sanford partners with clients to increase insight, attunement, and self-compassion as they seek understanding and transformation that deepens relational connection. Dr. Sanford has extensive experience providing therapy, psychological assessment and consultation for children, adolescents, couples, and families. Her training in interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral theories, complex trauma, complicated familial systems and emotionally focused couples therapy has allowed her to work efficiently with diverse clients. In addition to her role as a psychologist, Dr. Sanford provides executive coaching to powerful, high-achieving leaders committed to impacting community and social change. As an executive coach, Dr. Sanford creates space for clients to explore personal, professional and organizational development as they journey to embody integral and whole-person leadership. Collaboration, self-reflection, and continuous learning are foundational aspects of her practice as a leader, licensed psychologist, and executive coach.

  • Genevieve Ama

    Founder of The Wellbeing Blueprint

    Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Founder of The Wellbeing Blueprint, Genevieve Ama, has over a decade of passionate experience in helping those who struggle with a number of emotional ailments. During her career, and while focusing her abilities on marginalised populations, she has gained numerous specialisations.

    In preparation for these specializations, she attended the University of Essex where in 2009, she earned a Bachelor's degree of Science in Psychology. The following year, she then gained a Master's degree of Science in Research Methods in Cognitive Neuropsychology from the University of Hertfordshire.

    Soon after receiving her degrees, starting in 2012, Genevieve went on to gain several positions with theNHS. The first of these was with Drayton Park Women’s Crisis House, where she served as an Assistant Practitioner. She then became a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with Suffolk Wellbeing Service, before moving on to the role of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with Brent Talking Therapies IAPT. Following this role, and while with New Bucks University, she trained to be a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. In hopes of improving the overall wellbeing of mothers, she also completed training as a Hypnobirth Practitioner.

    Today, Genevieve is a part of the Hounslow IAPT team, where she holds the title of Specialist Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. In addition, she also serves as the founder of The Wellbeing Blueprint, an organization dedicated to providing therapy that aides marginalized sufferers of mental illness. Possessing a passion for helping these populations, which include BAME, adolescents, perinatal, and older adults, it is her mission to guide them to happier, more fulfilling lives. A strong believer in Christ, who knows the stigma that mental health carries, in all she does, it is Genevieve's hope that through faith and appropriate therapy, those who seek her service will develop healthier ways of coping, processing, and above it all, overcoming the limitations that prevent their well being.

  • Angie Franklin

    CEO of Afro Yoga

    Angie Franklin is the Founder and CEO of Afro Yoga, a 4x lululemon ambassador and yoga practitioner of over 20 years. She teaches from a culture focused perspective, specializing in a new style of yoga she calls Kemyasa — where the traditions of African and Indian yoga meet.

    Over the last 7 years she's built a loyal grassroots community that has grown into a global movement whose aim is to disrupt the wellness industry status quo. Angie has partnered with venture capital firms to support founder wellness and Fortune 500 companies like lululemon, the NBA, Duolingo, BlueShield, Kaiser Permanente and more to develop and facilitate wellness programming.

  • Carlisha Bradley

    Founder of Women Empowering Nations

    Carlisha Williams Bradley is an award-winning executive leader, education advocate, and coach. Carlisha lends her expertise and voice as a champion for women and girls worldwide as the founder of Women Empowering Nations (WEN), a nonprofit devoted to the leadership development of girls of the African diaspora. Under Carlisha’s direction, WEN has had a transformative effect on the globe, having created measurable opportunities for thousands of girls in the United States and Africa.

    Her work with WEN and her personal journey in executive leadership led her to establish Amplify for Women in July 2020. As CEO of Amplify for Women, she accelerates the pathway of women to executive leadership through professional branding, public speaking and leadership coaching. Her company arms clients with the training and tools to build professional brands rooted in a passion for a better reality, the power to impact and a path to leave a legacy stamp on the world.

    Additionally, Carlisha served as the Congressional District 1 representative on the Oklahoma State Board of Education from 2019 to January 2023. As a State Board member, she was responsible for determining policies and supervising the PK-12 public school system of Oklahoma impacting over 700,000 students and over 500 school districts. Carlisha has served as a trusted voice and advisor to various international aid organizations, non-profit agencies, schools, businesses, and diplomats around the globe.

    She has been recognized for her remarkable work and continuous commitment to change with numerous awards including 2020 Tulsan of the Year, 2020 Journal Record Woman of the Year, 2020 City Year Champion of Student Success, 2017 Oklahoma Magazine 40 Under 40, 2016 Mayor’s Pinnacle Women of Year and more.

  • Dametria Kinsley

    Global VP of Marketing, Cantu Beauty

    A marketing professional with almost two decades of experience, Dametria Kinsley is a visionary, activator and connector who sees things differently.

    Her background includes international marketing, product development and brand management having successfully launched products and high-impact initiatives that have resulted in increased sales and growth for leading beauty companies. With an entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering passion for beauty, Dametria brings a unique perspective to any brand she touches.

    Serving as the Global Marketing Vice President at PDC Brands, she leads the overall go to market strategy for the Cantu Brand globally and is the head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In her tenure, she has launched multimillion dollar SKUs in both the U.S. and high-volume global markets.

    Prior to PDC Brands, Dametria served as the Senior Sales and Global Marketing Manager at Astral Brands, a health and beauty company where she lead global growth for the cosmetics division. Previous sales and marketing roles include Newell Brands, Advanced Beauty Inc. and HBO.

    Hailing from rural Oklahoma, Dametria is a University of Tennessee alumna who also holds a Master of Business Administration from Emory University. An avid traveler, lover of the arts, she currently resides in Marietta, GA with her husband, 14 year old nephew, 3-year-old son and 1 year old daughter.
