Meet Oluwadamilola
In 2018, Oluwadamilola was physically attacked on campus in Nigeria with a machete. After the traumatizing event, she experienced victim blaming with questions like,
"Why were you walking alone? What were you wearing?”
Oluwadamilola turned her experience into power by founding "Forbidden Topics" to empower students with advocacy and public speaking skills and advocate against campus-based violence.
She aspired to become a solution provider to address injustice, which led her to apply for the GLOW Global Cohort.
